Capitalist Computator is a top-down shooter set on a 1950’s sci-fi movie set. Shoot enemy computators, avoid their projectiles and protect the symbol of mother Russia. Spaceships dock onto yours, clear them out and activate the enemies self-destruct. If you aren’t quick enough, new spaceship docks and the self-destruct button gets disabled and activated further away in the newly docked spaceship.
Capitalist Computator is a game created as a second-year project within the IGAD course. This project was part of the marmalade block in which three games are made within eight weeks. The purpose of the marmalades or in other word game jams is fast iteration in concept creation and realizing a minimal viable product to demonstrate the product.
